Though I do enjoy working on many brands and projects, I realize sometimes, it isn't always the right fit. These designers below have talent and useful skills that we recommend for various reasons.
Alison Knott - Alison K Consulting I've known Alison Knott for over five years now through E3C, East Coast Creative Collective. It's a collective Alison built to grow and nurture the creatives in Halifax from all different backgrounds. Funny enough, I met my husband through E3C. Alison is a wiz when it comes to everything Wordpress. Her skills with the platform are quite impressive. So much so that she's comfortable teaching the subject. She understands what it takes to have an online presence that is about thriving, not about vanity stats. Other than E3C, Alison is a WordCamp organizer, and she runs her own business helping others create beautiful websites. Matthew Morgan – Medavie Blue Cross It's easy to get along with Matthew Morgan. He is confident and genuine. I have known him for over five years as well. Matthew is a great Creative Consultant that knows how the industry works, inside and out. With over ten years of experience in various positions, his innovative approach will solve any project with all the resources at his fingertips. I haven't worked directly with Matt, but I have seen his process, and it is comprehensive. He can design websites, create beautiful ads, build fun logos, and paint amazing Warhammer armies. JJ Steeves JJ is a fantastic illustrator. Her stray kitties are throughout Halifax and their random tidbits into what everyone is thinking, place smiles on my face. JJ’s artwork is unique. She has developed her style that is bright, colourful, fun, insightful, self-reflective, and makes me want to draw more. Seeing her process, and her neat patterns done in ink and watercolour, are inspiring. These are other local people whom I like their work.
